Let me introduce myself...
Hello, I am Melissa Kala, and I have loved cooking and creating in the kitchen for as long as I can remember.
Nutrition is so far reaching, and eating the right type of food for different conditions or body parts fascinates me. Following health issues that both my husband and I were facing, I decided to pursue a Bachelor of Applied Science in Human Nutrition degree.
I wanted to delve deeper to see the how, why, and what of healing through nutrition, and I have always loved helping people with complex issues. So, despite my age at the time, I decided to take the plunge and go for it. My hobbies include a love of walking or cycling and going to the gym, reading, writing, learning, gardening, and being involved in community projects.
